Guided city walks

Most of the public tours of the Frankfurt Tourist+Congress Board may also be arranged to be stepless. Excluded are tours at Frankfurt’s East End, the East Harbour and the district Frankfurt-Höchst as well as tours featuring visits of the Goethe-House, which due to its age is not barrier-free. Please inform the tour guide of any special requirements prior to the start of the tour. Groups with more than one wheelchair user are asked to register at least one day in advance.

Double-decker busses offer visitors an unforgettable tour of the Main metropolis. Get on and off as you please and discover the city in your own time. One of Frankfurt’s biggest sightseeing-highlights is a tour with the Apple Wine Express, a historical streetcar from the 1950s. Enjoy Frankfurt’s famous apple wine, preztels and music while being ferried through Frankfurt’s old town centre and the apple wine district of Sachsenhausen. On Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, you may board the Apple Wine Express at any one of its regular stops. The Apple Wine Express is a historical streetcar and thus does not have low-floor capability. Three steps must be negotiated to board and there is no wheelchair space available.
