Frankfurt International Airport is Germany’s largest airport and the third largest in Europe.

All public facilities at Terminals 1 and 2 are fully stepless. Terminal 1 may also be reached from the airport’s regional and long-distance train stations (AIRail Terminal) by lift. The “SkyLine” shuttle and conventional shuttle busses are freely available for transfers from one terminal to the other.

Handicapped parking spaces
Handicapped parking at Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 is available in the airport’s vast underground car park (Terminal 1: Access via P4, Row 225; Terminal 2: Access via P8, Level U4, Row U417).

Passenger escort service
Frankfurt International Airport offers handicapped passengers or persons with restricted mobility a special escort service. On-site arrangement is not possible for security reasons; please reserve such services with your airline or travel agency at least 48 hours prior to departure.
To take advantage of the airport’s passenger escort service, please go to your airline’s check-in counter or use one of the five special call boxes marked with the icon of a wheelchair user.

An audio induction loop is available at Information Desk 1 (Arrivals Halls B) and at Service Point T2 (Areas D/E).
