Frankfurt's Autumn Dippemess at the Ratsweg Fairground is the largest folk festival in the Rhine-Main region. The highly popular festival features a sales market with numerous stalls as well as fun fair with myriad fairground attractions. It's fun and games for the entire family!

Location
The fair traditionally takes place at Ratsweg Fairground, directly adjacent to the "Eissporthalle" ice-sports arena.

Friday and Saturday 2:00 pm - 12:00 am
Sunday 12:00 pm - 11:00 pm

Transport connections/Road closures
Ratsweg Fairground (Festplatz) is best reached by local public transport. The underground station for (U-Bahn) Line 7 and the stops for Tram 12 and Busses 103/103 N and 38 are located right next to the fairground (Eissporthalle/Festplatz). Please note that the residential areas around the fairground are closed to traffic during the fair and that a one-way system in the direction of Festplatz applies on Ostparkstraße.

History of the Dippemess

The Dippemess is a traditional fair that dates back to the 14th century. At that time, the "Maamess", as it was then called, was a mediaeval market proffering domestic articles.
